Quality Components that Last. Momentum GT series cold air intakes make use of components that are built to last and designed to keep the air cool at all times. The system uses a one-piece housing to isolate the air from engine heat. It also has a roto-molded tube that increases air intake and fits perfectly with the housing. There’s also a 5″ tall inverted top filter that keeps out moisture and dust with its progressively finer filter media.
Installation Only Requires Common Hand Tools. The aFe Momentum GT Cold Air Intake comes in a complete kit with all the necessary parts and hardware needed for the installation. All you need to get started are common tools such as 8mm and 10mm socket or nut drivers, pliers, and a flat screw driver.
CARB Certified. This Cold Air Intake is 50 state legal for the Sierra’s equipped with the Electrical Fan under CARB EO Number D-550-13. Vehicles equipped with the Mechanical Fan is not CARB Certified.
Application. This Black aFe Momentum GT Pro Dry S Cold Air Intake is designed for use on 2009 6.0L GMC Sierra 1500’s equipped with either an electric or mechanical fan. It is not compatible on 6.0L Hybrid models.
