This air box and filter replacement features a SynthaFlow Oiled Filter to filter out dust and debris that may get sucked into the cold air intake system. With this air box system under the hood, you can be sure that your engine is getting a continuous supply of cool, clean air.
The Benefit of Cold Air Dam Panels. The cold air dam panels in the Airaid QuickFit Air Dam seal the filter to the underside of the hood, keeping it isolated from the hot engine. This way, they can keep the heat from raising the air temperature inside the cold air intake system. Additionally, the panels add extra air passages to the filter, increasing the volume of available cold air.
Mounts in the Factory Air Box Location. The air box system retains the location of the stock air filter, so it’s easy to install. Despite this similarity, the Airaid QuickFit Air Dam outshines the stock intake by drastically increasing the amount of air that’s available to your engine.
