You can get your 2009 6.0L GMC Sierra pawing the ground with fresh energy and aggression by installing the Borla Stinger S-Type Dual Rear Exit Cat-Back Exhaust, an exhaust system that generates dyno-proven gains of +7-10% horsepower and torque. The easing of fume backpressure helps the engine run stronger and smoother, with some gas mileage gains associated. Sending the exhaust through a carefully tuned multi-core muffler and out a pair of big, boldly mirrored 4” rolled and angle-cut exhaust tips, the S-type also gives your pickup truck a sound makeover. The exhaust note grows stronger, fiercer, and gets a distinctive “Borla” sound that exudes determination.
Excellent Product. A single intermediate pipe measuring 2.75” in diameter runs into the muffler, while two 2.25” tailpipes drain out of it to the rear. These pipes are all-welded to ensure leak free operation, and the muffler itself is similarly welded at all points. Borla uses austenitic stainless steel to produce the Stinger S-Type Cat-Back, a grade with ample chromium and nickel to defy rust and corrosion for many years (1 million mile warranty). A bolt-on part supplied with all necessary hardware, this exhaust is made in the USA.
