The kit provides a sharp increase in braking quality to your 2007-2013 GMC Sierra. Featuring a sizzling red finish on the aluminum calipers, this rear brake kit uses cross drilled 2-piece rotors to reduce weight and boost heat dissipation, preventing brake fade and increased braking distances. The cross-drilled rotors give the GT Series an extra-short braking distance in wet weather, even shorter than the slotted version. The drilled holes also carry away dust and gases from the rotor and cut down on the rotor weight. Strong and precisely responsive braking is also provided by the fixed aluminum calipers with multiple pistons, which clamp the pads on firmly when you step on the pedal rather than wobbling like non-fixed stock calipers.
Premium Design. Fabricated from a proprietary cast iron alloy, these Brembo Rear Brake Rotors are lightweight but effective and have racing level performance ratings. The aluminum calipers are 40% lighter than stock calipers, reducing unsprung weight. The included anti-abrasion, anti-corrosion brake cables are manufactured from tough braided steel. High tech, advanced brake pads round out the package, which is covered by a limited 2 year warranty.
Direct Replacement. This version of the Brembo 4-Piston Red Rear Brakes matches up with the factory master cylinder, ABS, and traction control, and bolts in directly in place of the stock brakes and calipers. All necessary hardware is included, plus instructions.
