Description

By speeding exhaust gases out the tailpipe rather than letting them build up in the engine, this cat-back makes the whole system breathe easier and run cooler. This boosts engine longevity, improves power performance and fuel mileage. In addition, the free flow of the tubing and muffler generate a growling, throaty exhaust note outside the vehicle, without making the cab interior much noisier than stock.
Long-Term Ruggedness. The CGS Motorsports Aluminized Cat-Back is more affordable than an all-stainless system but is still built for years of hard use and is covered by a limited lifetime warranty. The all-welded muffler is made of aerospace quality 304 stainless steel, as is the highly polished, appearance-enhancing tip. The 3” steel pipes are aluminized to resist rust, while the mandrel bends not only boost exhaust flow but also help prevent condensation of corrosive exhaust byproducts on the piping’s inside.
