Gray cast iron is highly durable, featuring high tensile and compression strength due to the low carbon content. Additionally, this kit includes premium steel replacement U-Bolts, nuts, and washers.
Increased Payload and Tow Capacity. With a heavy load over the rear axle, such as a trailer or cab-over camper, the back end of your Silverado squats drastically. If low enough, the rear axle can contact the rear bump stops, resulting in a rough, uncomfortable ride. By installing this Daystar lift block kit, you can raise the rear ride height of your Silverado by 2-Inches, allowing for an additional 2-Inches of bump travel to reduce the chance of contact with the bump stops and increase your Silverado’s payload and towing capacity.
