This front brake package we put together is for anyone looking to start tracking their Nissan Z.
We do not recommend using the OE pads for track use as the pads will fade once exceeding the temperature range.
XP12 compound is a great compound whether you are a beginner or an experienced driver.
The XP12™ has that excellent Carbotech™ release and modulation and a temperature range of 250°F to 1850°F+ (121°C to 1010°C+).
The use of 2-piece rotors allows for greater weight reduction and allows for better cooling, which results in more consistent braking and longer life.
You can see the 3 pounds of unsprung weight difference from the OE to the 2-piece rotors.
This is for the Performance model (Akebono caliper equipped).
