Description
Retains Stock Ride Comfort. The Fabtech 6″ Basic Lift System accomplishes lift by means of the stock front coilover shocks and steel spacers. This helps retain the standard ride comfort of the front suspensions and gives the vehicle a nice lifted look.
Reliable Offroad Performance. The kit includes a ¼” thick steel skid plate, and installing it requires the relocation of the front differential using heavy duty brackets. Meanwhile, the lower control arm crossmembers are made with cross tubes that are backed up by tubular frame for extra strength. All of these make for a system that’s meant to handle the extreme challenge of offroad driving.
Improves Your Driving Experience. Once the kit is installed, it upgrades the rear suspension using 5″ tall blocks, U bolts, and performance shocks, allowing for increased dampening and a smoother ride. Meanwhile, extended steering knuckles provide a tighter turning radius. This will give you superior control over your vehicle, helping you get out of tight spots.
Two Versions Available. This Fabtech Kit is available in two versions. There is an option for Sierras equipped with an Aluminum Alloy or Stamped Steel Front Suspension. And there is an option for Sierra models equipped with a Cast Steel Front Suspension. Please be sure to choose your suspension from the options listed above.
Choice of Shocks. Fabtech Lift System is available with your choose of shocks. You can choose between Stealth Monotube Shocks or Performance Twin Tube Shocks. Please be sure to choose your preference from the options listed above.
Application. This Fabtech 6″ Basic Lift System is designed for 2014-2018 2WD and 4WD GMC Sierra 1500 with a crew cab or an extended cab. It does not fit Denali Models with Magnetic Ride Control.
Please Note. Some vehicle may experience front driveline vibration while in 4WD. To correct that issue, you’ll need Fabtech CV Driveshaft Kit, part# FTS21192.
