No Tune Required. The FIPK Is designed to work great with factory ECM tuning. You’ll get a sizeable gain in power and torque immediately upon install. If you’d like to take things further, an ECM tune can increase performance considerably. However, engine life and emissions compliance can be negatively impacted.
Permanent Oiled Filter. The filter element is the famous K&N pleated cotton gauze unit. This is the filter that turned K&N into a must-have. The filter not only protects your engine while flowing far more air than stock, it’s reusable for up to 100,000 miles. Simply pull it out, wash, re-oil, and reinstall when it gets dirty. You’ll save money on air filters while enjoying increased performance.
Smooth Shot. The HDPE plastic intake tube has no kinks or sharp bends to restrict air flow. It’s aerodynamically engineered for maxium flow.
