The split exit tips and high-flow dual-out muffler help to deepen the exhaust note and make it more authoritative. At the same time, exhaust vapors stream out forcefully, sucking the headers and cylinders clean to boost performance, to the tune of horsepower and torque increases of +5% to +10%. The system cools the exhaust gases by 200° F, so that your truck’s less apt to break down and your oil and lubricants last longer. This cat-back is made from thrifty, decently durable aluminized steel.
Aluminized Construction. Heavy gauge aluminized steel is used for the 3″ piping in this MBRP system (16-gauge wall thickness), with a stout layer of aluminum silica on the seams to forestall rust starting there. The aluminized system comes with a 3 year limited warranty. The tips are T-304 aerospace grade stainless steel, polished to a mirror finish that makes the two outlets even more bold and eye-catching. Supplied with the needed hardware, this cat-back bolts on with hand tools.
