Beyond appearance and sound upgrades, this cat-back also greatly improves exhaust flow, boosting engine function by letting the whole system breathe easier. Scavenging fumes and cutting backpressure, the Installer frees extra horsepower and torque. The component also cools the engine, making it run more efficiently, plus slowing lubricant breakdown and motor wear.
Durable Aluminized Part. The MBRP Installer Series Cat-Back uses 2.5-inch aluminized steel tubing to keep the part affordable while offering good rust protection. The piping features mandrel bends for high exhaust flow. Extra aluminum silica protects the seams (the weakest point), and the tips are aircraft grade T-304 series stainless steel. Warranted for 3 years, this exhaust system fits the factory brackets, bolting on easily in 1-2 hours using the provided clamps and other hardware.
