Keeping the exhaust flowing fast around its smooth mandrel bends and through its straight-through muffler, the MBRP Installer Series Single Side Exit 3-inch Cat-Back Exhaust is a budget-minded but effective upgrade for your 2014-2018 Chevy Silverado. Basically a Pro Series cat-back constructed in aluminized steel, the Installer Series replaces the stock exhaust note with a rich, pleasing rumble that gives your truck a confident sound. The rapid venting of exhaust fumes cools exhaust by 200° F, while clearing away the hot gases that prevent cool air from entering the engine – improving horsepower, torque and gas mileage.
Aluminized Protection. The MBPR Installer Series 3-inch Cat-Back utilizes thick 16-gauge steel with an aluminized surface to stave off rust and corrosion. The eye-catching mirrored 4″ tip is made from T-304 stainless, a permanent grade that doesn’t discolor over time. The system is built from 3″ tubing, with extra aluminum silica on the seam to keep them from rusting out. Protected by a 3-year limited warranty, this part is made to bolt on within 1-2 hours in place of the OE system, using the supplied hardware. Depending on your cab and box configuration, some cutting to the piping may be required.
