For a sound that shows your 2009-2013 GMC Sierra means business, it’s hard to beat the MBRP XP Series 3-inch Single Side Exit Cat-Back Exhaust, whose intense exhaust flow and carefully tuned muffler chambers produce a deep, purposeful, mellow exhaust note. With the open pipes and high-flow muffler to the rear of the headers, your pickup’s engine no longer needs to strain to force hot exhaust gases out – they are pulled out strongly rearward, freeing up the engine to work easier and run better, stacking up to +5% to +10% horsepower and torque gains. You’ll also get 1-2 more miles out of every gallon of gas, meaning fewer stops at the pump.
T-409 Stainless Build. MBRP manufactures the XP Series Cat-Back out of T-409 stainless steel, a medium grade that won’t rust through (hence the limited lifetime warranty on the XP Series), but that will discolor somewhat, unlike T-304. The walls of the tubing are 16-gauge for additional strength. The 4.5″ tip is highly polished T-304 stainless so it will stay bright with minimal cleaning.
Ease of Install. The installation process of MBRP Cat-Back Exhaust is easy and the exhaust system can be installed with common hand tools. The bolt-on, no weld design provides you with a hassle-free installation process that can be completed in approximately 1-2 hours. Depending on your cab and box size, some cutting to the piping may be required.
