Description

Zesty exhaust sound – a deeper, more authoritative, yet smooth note – and a sizzling kick of extra power is dished up by the MBRP XP Series 3-inch Single Side Exit Cat-Back Exhaust when it’s installed on your 2009 6.0L GMC Sierra. Under ideal conditions, the cat-back frees up enough engine power (by relieving backpressure) to see +5-10% gains in the machine’s torque and horsepower output. Another big bonus of the system is the change in exhaust note, which is fierce during acceleration and subsides to a mellow but commanding rumble when cruising. The intensely polished 4.5-inch exhaust tip also gives your Sierra’s back end an aesthetic boost.

Quality Build. The MBRP XP Series 3-inch Cat-Back is manufactured for heavy, long-term use. Featuring robust 16-gauge walls, the 3-inch tubing also has a constant diameter thanks to mandrel bends. The tubing and chambered muffler are produced out of T-409 stainless steel, a type that may darken with surface oxidation but won’t rust or corrode through. The tip is T-304 stainless for superior sheen.

Ease of Install. The installation process of MBRP Cat-Back Exhaust is easy and the exhaust system can be installed with common hand tools. The bolt-on, no weld design provides you with a hassle-free installation process that can be completed in approximately 1-2 hours. Depending on your cab and box size, some cutting to the piping may be required.
