The strong rearward flow of the whole system through mandrel-bent tubing cools the exhaust itself by 200° F, and lets cold air flow unhindered into the engine from the front. This cuts the risk of engine breakdown, slows lubricant degradation, and wins an extra fuel milage to boot. The exhaust note changes to a tuneful performance rumble, and the 4″ polished exhaust tip helps give your Silverado a stylishly customized look.

The T-409 stainless steel used for most of the MBRP XP Series Single Side Exit Cat-Back’s construction is cheaper than T-304 but still offers superb shielding from corrosion and oxidation. The 3″ tubing is mandrel bent, with reinforced leak-proof seams, and the tip is T-304 stainless. Covered by a lifetime warranty, this component is made to bolt on to the factory mounts and hangers, using hand tools and the provided clamps and hardware.
