Description

Unique Performance Technology. The Rancho RS5000X Rear Shock for Stock Height enhances vehicle handling and comfort with a specialized valving system and advanced compression control. It is designed to optimize performance on varying terrains, reducing impacts and providing a smoother ride.

Construction and Appearance. Built with a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod to resist scuffs and corrosion, the shock features a durable 35mm sintered iron piston and a large twin-tube body filled with all-weather fluid for cooler operation and increased vehicle control. The exterior includes a polyurethane rebound bumper and rubber bushings to absorb ride harshness, while the fluoron-banded piston enhances responsiveness to changing road conditions. It is nitrogen gas pressurized to 150 PSI to minimize air-to-oil mixture and reduce damping fade, and withstands internal temperatures from -40 to 248 degrees Fahrenheit.

Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling, suitable for experienced DIYers or professionals. The shock replaces the stock unit directly to fit the specified vehicle applications.
