RS9000XL Series Rear Shock. Rancho is proud to offer the RS9000XL Series Rear Shock as a premium performance upgrade for your F-150. This RS9000XL Series Rear Shock Absorber will greatly improve the handling performance and ride quality of your F-150. Designed for 4-inch lifts, this adjustable Shock is straight forward to install and will work in conjunction with your original factory and aftermarket suspension parts.
Nine Position Adjustable Damping. The adjustable option of the Rancho RS9000XL Rear Shock allows you to adjust damping with just a twist of a knob giving you 9 shocks in one. The adjustment knob provides a clear understanding of each tuning level with settings 1-3 = on/off-road flexibility, 4-6 = similar to RS5000 shocks, and 7-9 = performance/towing flexibility. This damping adjustability will elevate the overall handling and performance of your vehicle both on and off-road, giving you the confidence you need to put your F-150 through its paces.
Quality Construction. Manufactured using a gas pressurized tri-tube design, this Rancho Shock features a 18mm nitro-carburized piston rod with a 1-1/4-inch diameter sintered iron piston to provide heightened control. Rancho Shocks feature a larger, 2-3/4-inch diameter shock body that allows for increased fluid capacity to operate cooler with increased vehicle control. The combination of all-weather fluid and low-friction, self-lubricating seals help prolong performance and allow for quicker rebound and smoother compression during the shock cycle. The Shock is completed in durable, white powder coated finish with a red polyvinyl accordion protection boot for impressive good looks and long lasting durability.
Direct Bolt-on Replacement. Rancho designed their Shocks to be a direct bolt on replacement for your F-150’s factory shock absorbers. Please note that an alignment, by a qualified shop, is highly recommended after installation.
Application. This Rancho RS9000XL Rear Shock for 4-inch Lift is designed to fit 2004-2008 4WD Ford F-150 models with a 4-inch lift. Sold individually.
