Built with a nitrocarburized 18-millimeter piston rod for durability against corrosion and damage, the shock features a robust steel body with a 2.38 inch diameter and a painted finish. Key elements include a tri-tube body filled with all-weather fluid for optimal thermal management, and a polyvinyl protective boot to extend service life.
Installation. Installation requires a moderate level of mechanical skill and does not require drilling. The shock mounts with loop bushing and sleeve hardware designed for a precise fitment, facilitating straightforward replacement of factory components.
Warranty. This shock absorber is backed by a limited lifetime warranty, ensuring long-term reliability and customer confidence.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit the 2009 to 2018 Ram 1500 models that do not have Air Ride suspension systems. This product replaces original equipment shocks for vehicles within this range, excluding models equipped with Air Ride technology.
