Cooler Temps. Royal Purple Purple Ice reduces hot spots in the engine and the cylinder heads. This reduces the possibility of engine failure by protecting these components from damage. It also helps prevent overheating by keeping the system clean. The cooler temperatures also extend the life of the water pump.
Installation. For use with antifreeze, add one ounce of Purple Ice per quart of your cooling system capacity. When using the additive with water applications, add two ounces of Purple Ice per quart. According to Royal Purple, a minimum of 20% antifreeze is recommended in street-driven vehicles.
Application. Royal Purple’s Purple Ice Super Coolant fits universally with different amounts recommended for antifreeze and water-filled systems. This includes Chevrolet Silverado trucks.
