Gleaming brilliantly in the sun or streetlights, these STX400 Aluminum Step Boards, Polished finish will give your 2009-2018 Ram 1500 a cheerful, energetic look while providing stable steps in a surprisingly lightweight format. Made from light but very tough extruded aluminum with stainless steel top panels, the STX400 boards feature high-grip 5” wide polyethylene step pads that give you firm, dependable footing in all conditions. The boards also look great, too, with their shimmering, deep polish, beveled and angled design, and the crisp chevron tread pattern on the contrasting black step pads.
Built for Longevity. These STX400 Aluminum Step Boards save some weight compared to steel steps thanks to their extruded construction, using aerospace grade aluminum alloy. Stainless steel top plates provide extra reinforcement on the “work surface” as well as serving to make the boards more handsome. The step pads are a proprietary polyethylene composition with excellent durability characteristics.
Minor Drilling for Some Installs. On 2011-2018 Dodge Ram 1500s, these STX400 Aluminum Step Boards are bolt-on components that attach without drilling or cutting to the stock mounting holes. However, 2009-2010 pickups will need several additional 0.25” mounting holes drilled in the pinch weld. All hardware is included.
