Construction and Appearance. This ball joint features patented sintered metal bearings for maximum toughness and durability. The housing is sealed with a durable neoprene dust boot secured by a patented ring to prevent contamination. The thicker flange is engineered to resist deformation, and pre-applied nylok adhesive secures fasteners against vibration. The boot is green and textured for added protection, and the stud is threaded M14-1.5.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling thanks to the press-in mounting design. The package includes a part-specific slotted castle nut, a snap cotter pin for secure fastening, and a boot installation tool to facilitate proper assembly. The ball joint is also equipped with a 90-degree SAE grease fitting for easy servicing.
