Premium Quality. Yukon Gear manufactures this 4.11 ratio GM 8.5 & GM 8.6 from high strength 8620 heat treated triple alloy steel. Both pieces are precisely machined leaving smooth surfaces without any burrs. Helical cut teeth mesh smoothly and do so without making any noise.
Professional Installation Recommended. Due to the complexity involved with installing a new pinion and ring gear, it is recommended that the job be done by a drivetrain specialist.
